I suspect separating the two entities and activities will streamline things for you and make it easier to explain to funders, whether individual donors or foundation-type donors. I know I can now explain what the Conversations Network is without having to resort to a graph or sections of the tax code! ;-) And congratulations on your own personal achievement here.
