		<description>Why should the autoworkers get bailed out? They are co-conspirators in the decline of the big 3 by voting for all those high wage union contracts over the years. They should bear the brunt of their decisions too, and not ask the autoworkers at Mercedes in Alabama or Toyota in Tennessee to bail them out.</description>

I watched the Obama 60-Minutes interview last night.  He raised an interesting point (paraphrased): Can we safely let the automakers go into Chapter 11 in the current macro-economic situation?

IANL but doesn&#039;t there have to be a bank or some entity that oversees the assets during Chapter 11 reorganization?</description>
